JLL launches India’s first comprehensive real estate developer solutions platform

  • To be country’s foremost platform for builders across their real estate life-cycle.
  • Siva Krishnan appointed as Managing Director to lead the new business unit.

JLL India has launched an innovative and path-breaking service, Developer Solutions – a horizontal platform geared to service the multiple requirements of the real estate developer community across their life-cycle. The platform will be led by Siva Krishnan, who re-joins JLL India as the Managing Director, Developer Solutions. In his previous role, Siva was the Senior Executive Director at CBRE and part of the India leadership team.

Developer Solutions is JLL’s pioneering effort to create a comprehensive real estate services unit, providing developers with a multi-speciality pan-India solutions development team, thereby minimising the need to reach out to multiple service providers or separate teams – and seen for the first time within Indian real estate. The formation of this unified platform includes creation of a new SBU-Developer Initiatives, combined with JLL’s highly in-demand land services and strategic consulting practices, all of which will be brought together under a single platform. The new developer initiatives service line will have presence across cities, in order to ensure effective solutions development and key account management.

The new service platform will give JLL a competitive edge in the India market, as it cohesively draws on the strengths of various specialised teams to create symbiotic solutions for developers. The platform will also leverage JLL’s various other services ranging from funding and investments, landlord representation, office and retail brokerage, property management, construction management and more to create bespoke solutions to optimise resources, value and marketing efforts, geared towards higher revenue growth and profitability for developers.

Ramesh Nair, CEO and Country Head, JLL India, said, “Developer solutions provides access to our developer clients for utilising JLL’s wide range of expertise, through a structured and integrated business solutions approach. As developer side businesses become more complex and competitive, a service such as developer solutions, will expand the builders’ ability to create multi-level strategies for their businesses and ensure success within minimum lead times. As we move into a renewed phase of growth, the focus is not only on expanding our leadership, but also offering unique solutions to proactively render success to the development community.”

Siva Krishnan, Managing Director, Development Solutions, JLL India, said, “This new business initiative will ensure that developers are able to lead the forward march of the sector and are armed with strategic business solutions to maximise benefits from the country’s growing economic strengths and latent demand for real estate. Through this new platform, I am confident that we will not only be able to add exponential value to mainline developers, but also offer unique solutions to mid-tier developers across the length and breadth of the country”.
