Embassy Awards Rs 8,500 Million Contract For Worli Tower

Embassy Developments Limited said it has awarded a major construction contract valued at Rs 8,500 million (mn) to Leighton Asia, part of the CIMIC Group, for the Embassy Citadel residential project in Worli, Mumbai. The contract covers the complete civil and structural works package for the ultra?luxury single tower development.

Embassy Citadel occupies approximately one point six million (mn) sq. ft. and carries an estimated gross development value of Rs 88,000 million (mn). The development comprises 316 residences across three, four and five bedroom configurations and includes two exclusive triplex mansion homes. The scheme provides zero point one million (mn) sq. ft. of amenities distributed across seven lifestyle floors and a 79th?floor Sky Lounge, and rises to about 300 metres above ground.

The project has been designed as a vertically integrated luxury ecosystem focused on wellness, hospitality?inspired living and multi?generational community spaces, with engineering and construction precision emphasised throughout. The architectural and consultant team includes ADA Architecture, STX Landscape Architects, Studio HBA and Thornton Tomasetti. Leighton Asia brings international high?rise delivery experience and a stated commitment to safety, quality and reliable execution.

Senior executives at CIMIC Group highlighted the organisation’s capability in delivering complex urban high?rise residential projects and framed the award as evidence of operational expertise in India.
