IHCL to Open Taj Hotel in Alibaug

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new hotel in Alibaug, Maharashtra, set to be branded as a Taj hotel.

The 156-key Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty Konkan Café, a bar, and a lobby lounge. It will also offer over 8,500 sq. ft. of banqueting space, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and Taj’s J Wellness Spa.

Suma Venkatesh, EVP – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, highlighted Alibaug’s growing appeal due to its proximity to Mumbai and Pune, infrastructure, and improved connectivity, making it a key leisure and events destination.

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Maharashtra reaches 38 hotels, including 14 under development.
