K Raheja Group Appoints Vijayta Nikhil Raheja As CEO

K Raheja Group has appointed Vijayta Nikhil Raheja as chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect, elevating a leader who has been associated with the group for 16 years. She was appointed chief operating officer (COO) in 2020 after spending nearly a decade as strategic advisor to the group's hospitality business, and before taking executive roles she worked independently on business strategy, marketing, retail activations and media engagements. The appointment formalises an internal progression and signals continuity in the group's leadership.

In her new role she will continue to report to managing director Nikhil K. Raheja and will oversee the group's strategy, business operations, governance, commercial and compliance functions, and organisational transformation. As COO she had overseen corporate governance, organisational processes and strategic initiatives across the group, responsibilities that will inform her broader remit as CEO. The change is intended to consolidate accountability and strengthen execution across businesses.

The move follows plans by the promoters to strengthen the leadership structure as the group expands its business operations. The promoters have highlighted her consistent demonstration of leadership, integrity, sound business judgement and commitment to excellence, and they have expressed confidence in her ability to guide the group into its next chapter while preserving its founding values. They have said they expect the group to continue to grow with purpose and innovation under her stewardship.

Her appointment is expected to play a role in the group's long-term strategic objectives and organisational transformation, building on initiatives initiated during her tenure as COO. She will be responsible for aligning governance and commercial priorities with the group's growth plans and for driving disciplined execution across functions. The group will monitor progress against these aims as it pursues expansion and value creation. Stakeholders and investors will assess operational outcomes, financial performance and sustainability measures over time.
