K Raheja–IHG Mark Powai Hotel Project with Puja

A pre-opening puja ceremony was recently held to mark the upcoming launch of a major hospitality development in Powai, Mumbai, led by Vijayta Raheja and Nikhil K Raheja of the K Raheja Group, along with Sudeep Jain, Managing Director (South West Asia), IHG Hotels & Resorts.

The event was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, highlighting the project’s significance for the state’s tourism and business ecosystem.

The development features a dual hotel complex with around 300 keys, 13 meeting rooms, four F&B outlets, expansive lawns, and multiple event spaces. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the project also includes a large-format convention centre aimed at strengthening Mumbai’s MICE capabilities.

This collaboration between K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts is designed to deliver an integrated hospitality ecosystem catering to both business and leisure travellers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vijayta Raheja highlighted Maharashtra’s strong infrastructure and investment climate, while the Chief Minister emphasised the role of such projects in enhancing Mumbai’s global positioning as a tourism and business destination.

The ceremony concluded with optimism, marking the beginning of a development expected to contribute to Maharashtra’s growth vision and Mumbai’s hospitality landscape.
