Karnataka govt plans free digital record for property owners
As the State administration continues to consider granting A Khata to B Khata owners by regularising their property, the comment gained relevance. This plan, however, is still only on paper and has not advanced.

The State Government intends to create digital records for property owners in Bengaluru while the discussion over B and A Khata continues. We are putting together a strategy to give city citizens access to digital documents, according to deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar. In fact, we want to make this process open enough to provide any property owner with free access to digital information. In order to maintain transparency, no one will be able to access or tamper with the documents at any time.
