Noida to add two more sub-registar offices amid property boom
Mishra stated, "The revenue department has submitted a proposal to establish two more sub-registrar offices in Greater Noida and Dadri. The goal of this initiative is to ease the burden on existing offices and speed up property registration procedures."
According to the official, each sub-registrar office has to process an average of 60 to 70 properties daily. However, the existing Dadri office handles more than 200 registries daily, and the Greater Noida offices handle over 150 registries daily.
"As a result, people have to endure longer wait times to get their properties registered, and both these sub-registrar offices remain crowded from morning till evening. Due to the heavy workload, papers cannot be properly scrutinized," Mishra explained.
To improve the documentation process, the department plans to recruit additional staff for the helpdesk at the sub-registrar offices, ensuring better assistance for the public in completing their paperwork.
The district administration announced plans to open two additional sub-registrar offices in Noida. At the moment, there are six sub-registrar offices, most of which are overloaded with paperwork for property registrations, according to Shashi Bhanu Mishra, Assistant Inspector General of Registration.
