Taj Mussoorie Foothills Opens in Dehradun

IHCL expands in Uttarakhand with Taj Mussoorie Foothills, a luxury retreat in Dehradun.
Located in the Himalayan foothills, the 115-key luxury hotel blends contemporary elegance with nature. It features diverse dining options, including Vista, an all-day restaurant, House of Nomad, a gastro pub, Tropics, a poolside venue, and Emperor Lounge for high tea. With banqueting spaces from 1,200 to 8,000 sq. ft., the hotel caters to weddings, conferences, and social events.
Speaking on the launch, Puneet Chhatwal, MD & CEO, IHCL, said, “We are delighted to expand Taj’s presence in Uttarakhand with the opening of Taj Mussoorie Foothills in the capital city of Dehradun. IHCL will have a multi-brand presence in the city, and with the recently opened Delhi-Dehradun Expressway enhancing connectivity, it has evolved to be a commercially prominent city in the region. In addition, its proximity to popular destinations such as Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar attracts a mix of leisure, adventure, and spiritual tourism.”
Guests can unwind at the J Wellness Spa, explore curated experiences like the Malsi Nature Forest Walk and Rajaji National Park safari, and enjoy amenities including EV charging stations, a kids' zone, and pet-friendly services.
IHCL now has 17 hotels in Uttarakhand, including seven under development, reinforcing its commitment to the region’s tourism and hospitality sector.

India Cements Q1 Loss Narrows To Rs 276 Million On Higher Sales

India Cements Ltd has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 276 million for the quarter ended June 2025, narrowing from a loss of Rs 831 million a year earlier.
