Sasken Partners VicOne To Boost Automotive Cybersecurity

Sasken Technologies Limited, a leader in product engineering and digital transformation, has announced a strategic partnership with VicOne, a Trend Micro subsidiary specialising in automotive cybersecurity. The collaboration aims to enhance in-vehicle and fleet-wide cybersecurity for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers.
VicOne brings its suite of solutions, including xCarbon (intrusion detection and prevention), vSOC (fleet monitoring and response), and EVSE Security (protection for electric vehicle charging infrastructure). Purpose-built for vehicles and EV charging systems, these solutions provide fleet-scale visibility, actionable intelligence and contextual insights into emerging threats. VicOne’s platform is powered by extensive threat intelligence enriched with over 70 million new data entries each month.
Sasken will leverage more than three decades of engineering, validation and system integration expertise to co-sell, integrate and operationalise VicOne’s technologies. This will enable OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to deploy cybersecurity at scale across electronic control units (ECUs), operating systems and cloud platforms, ensuring audit-ready evidence, faster investigations and more resilient charging infrastructure.
The partnership also involves competency exchange, with Sasken engineers receiving training in VicOne’s core technologies to deliver advanced security solutions for vehicle platforms, OEMs and services.
Rahul Bagchi, AVP, Cybersecurity Practice at Sasken, said: “Partnering with VicOne allows us to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in the automotive industry—cybersecurity. Together, we can help OEMs and Tier-1s deploy secure, scalable and audit-ready solutions across vehicles and fleets.”
Baker Lu, Senior Sales Director at VicOne, added: “Our mission is to safeguard vehicles and connected mobility. Joining forces with Sasken enables seamless deployment of our cybersecurity solutions across platforms and infrastructure, helping OEMs meet regulatory requirements and address evolving threats.”
With connected vehicles and EV infrastructure increasingly exposed to sophisticated cyber risks, the Sasken-VicOne alliance is set to provide a future-ready, end-to-end cybersecurity framework that strengthens compliance, safeguards vehicles and reinforces trust in the global mobility ecosystem.
