Amit Shah inaugurates over 50 projects worth Rs 24.47 billion

Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, inaugurates 53 diverse projects worth Rs 244.8 crore in Daman and Diu Silvassa City. Shah has laid the foundation stone for ten projects in Daman worth Rs 1.91 billion, another ten projects in Diu worth Rs 3.4 billion and over 33 projects in Dadra and Nagar Haveli worth Rs 191.6 billion.

Together, the projects have an estimated budget of Rs 24.47 billion.

"PM Modi has set a target of $2 trillion export by 2030, Indian space centre by 2035, hosting Olympics in 2036 and sending an Indian to the moon. In 2047, we will become a totally developed and self-reliant India. It will be a Vishwa guru," Shah said.

At the event at which Amit Shah spoke, dignitaries such as Administrator Praful Patel of Daman and Diu and the Union Home Secretary were present. In his speech, the Union Minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decade-long effort in initiating various development projects.

Praful Patek commented on Amit Shah's speech via X and mentioned that the central government is committed to the overall development of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu. The government is focusing on improving infrastructure, health, and education sectors, which will contribute to the region's future growth.
