Anshul Singhal Launches Vantrock with Rs 42 Bn Development Plan

Anshul Singhal has launched Vantrock Real Assets Private Limited (VRAPL), a Mumbai-based real estate platform targeting warehousing, industrial and logistics developments. The company plans to develop approximately 11.5 million sq ft of space with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 42 billion.
The first phase will comprise around 3 million sq ft across the National Capital Region (NCR), Bengaluru and Pune, involving an investment value of approximately Rs 11 billion. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027, with rental income expected from 2028. Land acquisition negotiations, documentation and regulatory approvals are at advanced stages.
The remaining 8.5 million sq ft is planned across these markets and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), with projects to be operationalised in phases.
Vantrock will focus on Grade-A warehousing and industrial parks in strategic locations, targeting land parcels of 15–60 acres with development potential ranging from 0.4 million to 1.5 million sq ft.
The company also plans to acquire and refurbish existing Grade-B warehouses to Grade-A standards within six to twelve months, reducing development timelines compared with new construction.
Projects will be financed through equity, construction debt, institutional funding and partnerships with landowners.
According to CBRE Research, India's Grade-A warehousing supply shortfall could reach approximately 117 million sq ft between 2026 and 2031.
Vantrock plans to subsequently expand into data centres, global capability centres, suburban offices and other infrastructure assets.

Cement Prices Likely to Rise Rs. 10-15 per Bag from Mid-October

Cement manufacturers in India are likely to raise prices by Rs. 10-15 per bag from mid-October, as they seek to offset persistent increases in power and fuel costs. Emkay Research said its channel checks indicated a high probability of an increase from October 12, supported by the start of the busy construction season and favourable demand-supply conditions.
