Asahi India Glass reports 25.39% decline in in Q1 FY25 profit

Asahi India Glass has reported a 25.39% decline in its net consolidated profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2024. The net profit after tax stood at Rs 766.9 million in Q1 FY25, compared to Rs 1.02 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a BSE filing by the company.

The company's net consolidated total income for Q1 FY25 was Rs 11.35 billion, marking a 4.14% increase from Rs 10.90 billion in the same quarter last year.

Additionally, the board of directors has approved the appointment of Kamaljit Kalkat as an additional director in the capacity of an independent director for a period of five consecutive years, effective August 6, 2024.
