Engineering Projects (India) discusses road map for India 2047

Engineers of Engineering Projects (India) Ltd (EPI) conducted a webinar to celebrate the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, where the officials discussed the road map for India 2047, which included several projects in building the infrastructure of Bengal and the entire eastern zone.

The webinar was hosted by the eastern regional office of EPI and they discussed the role of Engineering Projects India in the future of road projects and the health infrastructure of India.

The speakers spoke regarding enhancing the national highways that link Bengal and the adjoining states. The engineers of the Union ministry of heavy Industries, via the webinar, spoke about the future objectives of the EPI. Already the EPI had taken up some very renowned projects in Bengal, that included installing the Samridhi Bhavan of SBI, mini secretariat at Siliguri – UttarKanya, Joka ESI medical college hospital, West Bengal Pollution Control Board office, and even the New Kolkata Development Authority’s office in the city.

Biswajit Biswas, the executive director, EPI, spoke on the new ventures and how border fencing can support in preventing infiltrators while Subhanjan Adak spoke about the future of EPI in constructing road projects.

The authorities narrated when EPI’s competence in developing several National and State Highways in Jharkhand and Odisha. Rajat Roy, with his experience in the hospital sector, described the opportunities of EPI in the health sector. While Pankaj Kumar Gupta delved on the prospects of the EPI on infrastructure projects and the prospects that lie ahead.

Bathala Lakshman Kumar discussed the new road projects and developing new health infrastructure during the 75 years of India’s freedom.

The EPI is developing border outposts for the Border Security Force (BSF) to keep the country safe and has developed several cyclone shelters in Bengal.
