GAME, NITI Aayog Partner to Boost Local Entrepreneurship Ecosystems

Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) and NITI Aayog have announced a strategic collaboration to foster dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystems across India. The initiative will begin with pilot sites in Nagpur, Visakhapatnam and Uttar Pradesh, focusing on location-based interventions.

The partnership aims to support local entrepreneurs by uniting stakeholders such as government bodies, corporates, educational and financial institutions, successful entrepreneurs, and community groups. By tailoring solutions to regional needs, the initiative seeks to convert entrepreneurship into a key driver of inclusive economic development.

The pilot projects will apply GAME’s established methods, including access to finance, community-led initiatives, capacity building, and policy advocacy. The goal is to build self-sustaining entrepreneurial ecosystems that can fuel job creation.

GAME, active since 2018, has supported over 300,000 entrepreneurs through its initiatives focused on access to credit, market linkages, and regional interventions. The partnership is set to address systemic challenges and nurture innovation-led local economies through strong, multi-level collaboration.
