Hero MotoCorp Dispatches 4.5 Lakh Units in July 2025, Up 21% YoY

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported dispatches of 449,755 units in July 2025, marking a 21 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 370,274 units in July 2024. The company also recorded over 339,827 VAHAN retail registrations, indicating steady market demand across urban and rural regions.

Hero strengthened its scooter segment performance with the Destini 125 and Xoom 125, while the motorcycle portfolio expanded with the HF Deluxe Pro, offering enhanced features and fuel efficiency in the entry-level segment.

In the EV space, VIDA — powered by Hero — delivered a record monthly performance with 11,226 units dispatched and 10,489 VAHAN registrations. The company doubled its electric vehicle VAHAN market share YoY to 10.2 per cent, led by the strong response to the new VIDA e-scooter VX2 and its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model.

The global business also maintained momentum, with sales crossing 37,300 units during the month, reinforcing Hero’s growing international footprint.
