KD Green Industries Director Wins Sustainable Manufacturing Award

KD Green Industries Limited (earlier known as Manbro Industries Limited) has announced that its managing director, Dilip Kumar Goenka, was honoured with the Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing and Green Innovation award at the Times Business Awards North-East, third edition for the period 2025-26. The company, which is listed on the BSE with scrip code 512595, released details of the recognition on 14 May 2026 in Guwahati.

The accolade recognised Goenka's leadership and the firm's focus on environmentally responsible manufacturing. The company said he has pursued green manufacturing solutions and the integration of cleaner technologies across operations, setting benchmarks in sustainable industrial development. The award was described as highlighting the balance the company seeks between economic growth and environmental stewardship and underlining its efforts in eco-friendly innovation within the manufacturing sector.

KD Green Industries is engaged, including its subsidiaries, in the manufacture of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks under the Green AAC Block brand and in the production of pipes and poles under the XTech brand. The company is setting up steel fabrication facilities for infrastructure products such as solar structures and transmission supports and described these projects as aimed at supporting sunrise sectors with sustainable solutions. The firm forms part of the KD Group, an integrated infrastructure and building materials manufacturing conglomerate active in steel, infrastructure and sustainable building materials.

The group outlined plans for green steel products manufacturing covering branded TMT bars, pipes and electric poles and said it is arranging value added production under the XTech name. The company also stated that Sanjay Dutt and Nishita Goswami have been appointed as brand ambassadors for XTech. The award was presented by the Times Business Awards North-East, which recognises business leaders and organisations for sectoral achievements and contributions.
