KD Green Industries is engaged, including its subsidiaries, in the manufacture of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks under the Green AAC Block brand and in the production of pipes and poles under the XTech brand. The company is setting up steel fabrication facilities for infrastructure products such as solar structures and transmission supports and described these projects as aimed at supporting sunrise sectors with sustainable solutions. The group outlined plans for green steel products manufacturing covering branded TMT bars, pipes and electric poles and said it is arranging value added production under the XTech name. The company also stated that Sanjay Dutt and Nishita Goswami have been appointed as brand ambassadors for XTech. The award was presented by the Times Business Awards North-East, which recognises business leaders and organisations for sectoral achievements and contributions.
