KP Green Begins Telecom Infrastructure Project With BSNL

KP Green Engineering has conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for a telecom infrastructure project awarded by Bharat Sanchar Nigam under advance work orders previously disclosed to the stock exchanges. The aggregate value of the orders was stated as Rs 8,190 million and the project was described as a significant national assignment aimed at strengthening connectivity. Company filings recorded the disclosure pursuant to regulatory requirements and noted the strategic importance of the works.

The scope of the project covers five states and one union territory and will involve deployment of telecom infrastructure in strategically important and geographically challenging regions. The initiative is intended to enhance connectivity in remote and underserved areas by improving network reach and resilience. Company communications indicated that the works will support digital inclusion objectives and facilitate more seamless communication networks across diverse terrains.

The management said the project underscores growing trust in KP Green Engineering Limited’s execution capabilities and engineering expertise to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects within defined timelines and quality standards. The commencement was presented as reinforcing the company’s presence in the telecom infrastructure sector and demonstrating capacity to manage complex assignments across multiple geographies. The company positioned the project as consistent with its broader business objectives in infrastructure and engineering.

KP Group was established in 1994 by Dr Faruk G. Patel and over three decades has expanded into renewable energy, infrastructure and innovation. The group has led projects in wind, solar, hybrid energy, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and green hydrogen and emphasised its commitment to sustainability and India’s energy transition. The project with BSNL was framed as complementary to the group’s mission of supporting digital growth and delivering large-scale transformative infrastructure.
