KP Green Engineering Passes W-Beam H1 Crash Test Certification

KP Green Engineering Limited (the Company) has passed the W-Beam H1 (TB42) crash test at the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) in its first attempt, meeting EN 1317-2 standards. The certification followed trials conducted under defined impact angles, speeds and vehicle load scenarios designed to replicate real-world conditions. The successful outcome reflects the design and engineering precision applied to the barrier system. The process complied with recognised performance benchmarks and test protocols.

The barrier demonstrated effective vehicle containment, controlled redirection and reliable energy absorption across car, bus and truck categories, validating performance across multiple vehicle types. Tests assessed the system under stringent impact conditions and the results indicated consistent behaviour for containment and redirection. Such validation supports product reliability for diverse roadway contexts. Evaluation included repeatability checks to confirm consistent behaviour.

This milestone is expected to enhance the Company's credibility and strengthen its position when responding to infrastructure requirements from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), public works departments and other government and private sector projects. Certification in the first attempt is presented as evidence of manufacturing quality and process rigour. The outcome is likely to assist commercial discussions and project bids in the infrastructure segment. Stakeholders in project planning are likely to note the certification.

KP Group, established in 1994 by Dr Faruk G Patel, is described as a multi-faceted conglomerate with core expertise in renewable energy, infrastructure and innovation, and with project experience in wind, solar, hybrid energy, Battery Energy Storage System and green hydrogen. The group asserts its commitment to sustainability and to contributing to India's energy transition while extending safety solutions for road infrastructure. The Company indicates it will continue to support infrastructure development through certified safety products. The Company indicated plans to align production and supply chains with demand for certified barriers.
