L&T Secures Major Orders in Buildings & Factories Business

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has won significant orders for large-scale projects in India, reinforcing its expertise in delivering complex developments on stringent timelines.

The company has secured an order from a leading multinational corporation to construct one of India’s largest proposed IT parks in Bengaluru, covering 5.9 million sq. feet on a Lumpsum Turnkey basis, to be delivered in two phases. The project will feature A-grade office spaces developed on a warm shell basis and aims for USGBC New Building Platinum rating under LEED Certification for sustainability.

The construction scope includes six 14-storey towers (Common Basement of 3 Floors + Ground + 10 Floors + Terrace), encompassing civil works, unitized façade glazing, architectural lighting, finishes, and electromechanical services such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators & escalators, ELV systems, a GIS substation, solar PV system, LPG gas bank, WTP, STP, UG tanks, stack parking, along with extensive hardscaping, landscaping, and irrigation in external areas.

Additionally, L&T has won an order from a reputed developer to construct a mixed-use development in Mumbai, scheduled for completion within 45 months.
