L&T Heavy Engineering Bags Major Orders in Q3 FY25

Larsen & Toubro’s Heavy Engineering division has announced a series of significant orders in Q3 FY25, marking a milestone in both international and domestic markets.

In the international arena, the company secured an order for LNG equipment from a major U.S. project, one of its largest LNG orders to date. L&T also landed an order for a loop reactor at a Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Polypropylene (PP) plant in Turkey.

Other international wins include a repeat order from Saudi Arabia for the revamp of a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) and an order in Kuwait for supplying critical components for hydrocracker reactors and high-pressure heat exchangers.

In India, the company secured orders for three urea reactors from Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd, and Indorama India Private Ltd. Notably, the order from Southern Petrochemical includes India’s longest urea reactor, bringing L&T’s total urea reactor contracts to 17 in recent years.

L&T Heavy Engineering, a key arm of the $27 billion Larsen & Toubro Group, continues to demonstrate its leadership across sectors like LNG, petrochemicals, and fertilizers. These new orders underscore the company’s robust engineering capabilities and its strong foothold in the global market.
