Mastek Appoints Amit Gajwani As Chief Operating Officer

Mastek has appointed Amit Gajwani as chief operating officer with immediate effect. He succeeds Prameela Kalive, who will remain with the company until the end of June 2026 to ensure a smooth leadership transition ahead of her superannuation. The appointment was announced by the company as part of its leadership planning.

Gajwani joins Mastek with over 28 years of global leadership experience in driving business growth, strategy and large-scale operations across diverse industry verticals. Most recently, he led the Europe, UK and Nordics business at LTM Limited, where he established the Europe business unit and built it into a high-growth strategic vertical with a strong market presence. He was responsible for end-to-end business growth, delivery and client relationship management across multiple sectors and delivered sustained double-digit growth through disciplined execution and expansion of key accounts.

Prior to his Europe role, he headed the media and entertainment and travel, transportation and hospitality verticals, delivering portfolio growth and enhanced customer engagement across global markets. Earlier, as executive vice president at Cybage, he led global sales, business development and strategic delivery portfolios, integrating sales, delivery, strategy and marketing functions to drive business expansion and deepen client engagement. Across these roles, he developed expertise in scaling complex businesses, driving revenue growth and strengthening long-term client partnerships.

Gajwani will work closely with Kalive over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities. Mastek said the appointment aligns with its AI-first transformation strategy and focus on operational efficiency and client centricity. The company has a presence in over 40 countries and a skilled workforce of close to 5,000 employees, partners with Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, Snowflake and Databricks, and serves over 400 active customers. The company expressed appreciation for Kalive's contribution and indicated confidence in the leadership team as it pursues sustainable growth.
