Monarch Surveyors Secures Rs 43.6 Million Government Contract

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants said it has secured a work order worth Rs 43.6 million (mn) from the Office of the District Superintendent of Land Records in Parbhani, Maharashtra. The mandate covers the selection of agencies to provide licensed surveyor services for the district and is subject to necessary approvals from relevant government authorities. The company indicated the work is scheduled to commence immediately and will be completed in accordance with the terms of the contract.

The company stated the contract has been awarded by a domestic government entity and will be executed for a cash consideration of Rs 43.6 mn. Monarch Surveyors clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction and that its promoters and promoter group entities have no interest in the contract. The clarification was provided to underline governance and compliance aspects of the award.

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants offers end-to-end consultancy services for infrastructure projects encompassing survey, design and technical supervision across roads, railways and metro systems. The firm also undertakes town planning projects, geospatial mapping and land acquisition assignments as well as work for water systems, transmission lines and pipelines. These capabilities position the company to deliver the comprehensive surveying and technical services required under the Parbhani assignment.

In its financials the company reported a 16.1 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 348.3 mn on a 10.5 per cent increase in revenue to Rs 1.54 billion (bn) in FY25 compared with FY24. The stock was reported to have fallen zero point seven two per cent to settle at Rs 221.50 on the BSE. The firm said the project will be executed as per contractual terms and regulatory approvals.
