Omar Abdullah Inaugurates Rs 365 Million Projects In Ganderbal

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has inaugurated and laid the foundation for more than a dozen projects worth Rs 365 million in Ganderbal district, highlighting the government’s focus on developing sports, power, and road infrastructure.
The sports initiatives include the upgradation of stadiums and playfields at several locations. At Beehama, Abdullah also launched new sports equipment and attended demonstrations of Judo, Thang-Ta, and Yoga by local youth.
In the power sector, the Chief Minister inaugurated a new receiving station at Saloora, aimed at strengthening electricity supply in the region. He also laid the foundation for key road connectivity projects, reinforcing the government’s push for infrastructure modernisation in the district.
Abdullah participated in various community activities during the visit, including a friendly badminton match, underlining the administration’s intent to blend development with youth engagement.
