PM Launches Rs 2 Trillion Projects in Vizag

In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Visakhapatnam, stringent security arrangements have been implemented. He is set to lay the foundation stone for multiple projects valued at Rs 2 trillion, including India’s inaugural green hydrogen hub at Pudimadaka in the Anakapalle district, as part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Authorities have deployed over 5,000 security personnel to manage safety measures. The Vizag city police have announced a ban on drone usage and have also restricted access to certain roads and traffic junctions to ensure smooth operations during the visit.

Modi is anticipated to arrive in the city, following which he will participate in a roadshow from Siripuram to Andhra University's engineering college grounds. A public meeting will be held at the venue, with an estimated attendance of 1.5 lakh individuals from various parts of northern Andhra Pradesh.

This marks Modi’s first visit to Andhra Pradesh since the NDA government was formed both at the Centre and in the state. During his visit, he will lay the foundation stone for the South Coast Railway (SCoR) headquarters in Visakhapatnam and inaugurate several railway and road projects aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and driving economic growth.
