RR Kabel Launches High-Safety, Eco-Friendly Wires

RR Kabel, a prominent Indian manufacturer of wires and cables, has unveiled a new range of advanced wire solutions designed to meet the evolving demands of Indian homes and infrastructure. The newly launched products—Flamex HR+FR, Superex Green HR+FR, and Firex LS0H-EBXL—are engineered to address challenges such as rising ambient temperatures, increasing electrical loads, and greater fire and environmental safety requirements.
“As homes grow smarter and temperatures rise due to global warming, wires must evolve too,” said Mr Rajesh Kabra, Executive Director at RR Kabel. “Our new range is not only tailored to current requirements but also anticipates future challenges by offering improved thermal resistance, electrical performance, and sustainability.”

Flamex HR+FR Wire
Flamex HR+FR is designed for high-heat environments and delivers 20 per cent greater current-carrying capacity than standard flame-retardant (FR) wires. With a safe operating temperature of up to 85°C—15°C higher than conventional alternatives—this wire integrates both heat resistance and flame retardancy. Its flexible build, anti-rodent, and anti-termite protection make it especially suited for utility areas where performance and safety are paramount.

Superex Green HR+FR Wire
Positioned as one of India’s most eco-conscious wire solutions, Superex Green combines Heat Guard Technology with compliance to REACH and RoHS standards—free from over 245 harmful substances. It tolerates temperatures up to 85°C and features an Advanced Class 2 conductor that enhances mechanical durability and minimises energy loss. Manufactured using 100 per cent Pure Electrolytic Copper, it includes anti-pest protection and is packaged in environmentally friendly green wrapping. It is aimed at consumers who value sustainability without compromising on performance.

Firex LS0H-EBXL Wire
The Firex LS0H-EBXL wire is crafted to handle double the electrical load of standard PVC wires and can withstand extreme heat up to 900°C without melting. Its Electron Beam Cross-Linking (EBXL) technology, combined with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H) insulation, ensures minimal release of non-toxic, transparent smoke during fires, aiding in safe evacuation. With a lifespan exceeding 60 years, flexible design for easy installation, and anti-rodent and termite protection, Firex is compliant with safety norms for high-rise buildings, smart homes, hospitals, hotels, and public infrastructure.

Shared Features Across the Range:
  • Enhanced tolerance for heat and electrical load
  • 100 per cent Pure Electrolytic Copper construction
  • Compliant with IS, REACH, RoHS, CE, and CPR standards
  • Built-in anti-rodent and anti-termite protection

Through these product launches, RR Kabel reaffirms its commitment to redefining safety, performance, and sustainability within the electrical solutions industry.
