SHM Shipcare's Saifuddin Hajee Wins Industry Achievement Award

SHM Shipcare Private Limited announced that Saifuddin Hajee, Managing Director and Group CEO, has received the Outstanding Industry Achievement Award at the All India Achievers Conclave & Awards 2026.

The award recognises his contribution to India's maritime sector, including indigenous manufacturing, maritime safety and the development of domestic maritime capabilities.

Hajee has led SHM Shipcare's expansion across marine safety and survival systems, shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore services and vessel lifecycle management. The company has also focused on developing indigenous maritime technologies and engineering solutions while expanding its presence in domestic and international markets.

Commenting on the recognition, Hajee said the award reflects nearly two-and-a-half decades of commitment to the maritime industry and the collective efforts of the SHM Shipcare team. He added that maritime safety remains central to the company's operations and has guided initiatives such as the development of its indigenously designed lifeboat.

SHM Shipcare has also undertaken indigenous manufacturing of SOLAS-compliant lifesaving appliances, including lifeboats and life rafts. The company supplies maritime safety products to domestic and international markets through its distribution network.
