Texmaco Secures Rs. 571.5 mn Order From Vedanta Aluminium Metal

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has disclosed that Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited has awarded it an order worth Rs. 571.5 million (mn) for the supply and commissioning of two BTAP rakes and two BVCM. The disclosure was filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements and submitted to the National Stock Exchange and BSE. The order has been described as domestic and covers design, supply and commissioning services and forms part of the company's order book and contract obligations include warranty and maintenance provisions.

The order specifies the delivery schedule in two phases. The first rake, which comprises 53 wagons and one BVCM, is to be delivered within six months from the effective date. The second rake is to be delivered within eight months from the effective date.
