Texmaco Secures Rs. 571.5 mn Order From Vedanta Aluminium Metal

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has disclosed that Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited has awarded it an order worth Rs. 571.5 million (mn) for the supply and commissioning of two BTAP rakes and two BVCM. The disclosure was filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements and submitted to the National Stock Exchange and BSE. The order has been described as domestic and covers design, supply and commissioning services and forms part of the company's order book and contract obligations include warranty and maintenance provisions.

The order specifies the delivery schedule in two phases. The first rake, which comprises 53 wagons and one BVCM, is to be delivered within six months from the effective date. The second rake is to be delivered within eight months from the effective date. The effective date is noted as eight May 2026 and the contract price is stated to include taxes and specified timelines for testing.

The company has recorded the order value as Rs. 571.5 mn in its filings, with the disclosure listing the value including taxes and recorded in stock exchange filings. It has confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the customer and that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.
