TVS Unveils 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V With Bold New Upgrades

TVS Motor Company, a global leader in the two and three-wheeler segments, has launched the 2025 edition of its iconic Apache RTR 200 4V, marking two decades of racing-inspired innovation and engineering excellence. The updated model reflects the brand’s track-bred legacy and has earned the trust of over six million riders globally.

Priced at Rs 1.54 million (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V now comes equipped with key enhancements, including OBD2B compliance, a 37mm Upside Down (USD) front suspension for improved handling, and a hydroformed handlebar that ensures greater stability across riding conditions. The motorcycle features refreshed styling with a bold red alloy wheel and will be available in Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

Continuing its legacy of innovation, the motorcycle is powered by a 197.75cc engine delivering 20.8 PS at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. It is equipped with dual-channel ABS, three riding modes (Urban, Sport, Rain), a slipper clutch, adjustable brake and clutch levers, Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect™, voice assist, and a fully digital instrument cluster with LED headlamps and signature DRLs.

The Apache RTR 200 4V first debuted in 2016, redefining the segment with bold aesthetics and segment-first features such as ride modes and Rear Lift-off Protection. It has consistently set benchmarks by combining race-focused engineering with street usability, keeping pace with the evolving needs of modern riders.

Mr Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “The TVS Apache brand is more than a motorcycle — it is a movement of six million strong, driven by racing DNA and technological excellence. The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V extends this legacy, offering a thrilling, track-inspired experience for the next generation.”

The latest model’s introduction comes as the Apache brand hits a major milestone — reaching a global community of six million riders, with the last million added at record speed. This growth underlines the enduring appeal of the Apache series, which continues to set the standard for performance and innovation in its category.
