Zoomlion Showcases Hybrid Farming Tech at Agritechnica 2025

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (1157.HK) made a strong impression at AGRITECHNICA 2025, unveiling nine exhibits spanning host machines and agricultural implements. The showcase reflected the company’s growing emphasis on hybrid power, intelligent machinery and sustainable farming solutions for global agriculture.

In Hall 5, Zoomlion presented four new-energy machines: the DV3504, DQ2604 and DL1604 hybrid tractors, along with the 480-horsepower H7-600E hybrid harvester. Designed for large-scale, technology-enabled farming, these machines deliver high power, fuel efficiency and enhanced operator comfort across the 160–350 horsepower range.

The flagship DV3504 hybrid tractor features Zoomlion’s proprietary MIDD distributed intelligent electric drive system, offering 119 kN traction and 227 L/min hydraulic output. With a sound-insulated cabin and air-suspension seating, it meets the demands of high-power operations while ensuring superior comfort.

A live demonstration of the DV3504 was streamed from China, showing the tractor performing autonomous harrowing using the Zpilot Pro system. The demo showcased Zoomlion’s capability to optimise the entire farming cycle — from tillage and planting to crop management and harvesting.

Five simultaneous camera views were broadcast, including aerial drone footage, onboard tractor cameras and a cloud-based management interface. Attendees saw the machine generate optimal operating paths, execute complex turning manoeuvres such as X-turns, and maintain centimetre-level accuracy through multi-sensor fusion and precision positioning.

The H7-600E hybrid harvester also drew strong attention with performance improvements including 20 per cent higher efficiency, over 30 per cent lower operator workload, 70 per cent fewer transmission components, over 50 per cent improved reliability, and 30 per cent lower energy consumption. As the world’s first large-capacity intelligent hybrid combine harvester, it integrates a 480-horsepower engine with an 11.55 kWh battery, delivering peak power exceeding 600 horsepower.

Zoomlion’s German subsidiary RABE launched three high-end implements:

SUPER ALBATROS intelligent plough

PHOENIX T 600 tillage machine

PANDION M 500 disc harrow

These expand the company’s portfolio of solutions suited to diverse soil conditions and modern farming needs.

Liu Yuxin, General Manager of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, said the exhibition marks a major step in the company’s “High-End, International, New Energy” strategy. Vice President and Chief Engineer Dr Fu Ling added that Zoomlion will continue leveraging its engineering machinery expertise to advance hybrid and intelligent agricultural equipment, supporting more sustainable global food production.
