Hexaware Opens Delivery Centre At GIFT City In Gujarat

Hexaware Technologies Limited (Hexaware) has opened a new delivery centre at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), India's international financial services hub. The centre was inaugurated by Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat, and will serve Hexaware's global banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) clients across digital solutions, artificial intelligence, cloud transformation, data engineering and next-generation software services. The investment forms part of the company's strategy to expand its delivery footprint and deepen engagement with financial institutions.

Hexaware's established presence in Ahmedabad and wider Gujarat underpins the new facility, which the company intends to develop as a technology and innovation hub serving financial institutions across global markets. The firm aims to create approximately 1,000 high-skilled jobs over the next three years in software engineering, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud, data analytics, business operations and customer experience services. Recruitment and capability building will focus on leveraging local talent to meet client demand.

The chief minister described the opening as a strong endorsement of Gujarat's competitiveness as a destination for financial services and technology and welcomed the investment into the state ecosystem. Hexaware's chief executive noted that the GIFT City expansion aligns with the strategy of being closer to customers while leveraging India's talent pool and said the company planned to contribute to the growth of the local technology landscape and create meaningful careers. The chief financial officer added that the quality of talent and the policy framework in the state made GIFT City the clear choice for the company's expansion.

The GIFT City centre complements Hexaware's growing delivery network in India and is expected to support work with BFSI clients across multiple jurisdictions. Hexaware is a global technology and business process services company that partners with enterprises to deliver digital transformation at scale and speed. The company will host the new centre as part of its wider efforts to build, transform, run and optimise clients' technology and business processes.
