Thanking Dr Pelkonen, Kamath expressed how honored he was to be heading thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions India. ‘The legacy is enormous,’ he said. ‘thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions India is a front-runner in the EPC business of chemical plants and with our vast experience, dedicated strong team, continued support from our customers and our parent company, I am sure that we will succeed in the years to come as well. I am looking forward to the new role.’

A graduate engineer form Bangalore University, Kamath led Air Liquide Engineering and Construction (E&C) in India, in addition to holding many leadership positions with EPC firms prior to this assignment.

Earlier at the event, Samudra thanked the Customers and Business Associates at the event for their constant trust, the management of thyssenkrupp for the support to the company, and his management team and employees for their engagement and collaboration. ‘Our success is a result of the unstinted support of all of you. We cannot thank you enough for your engagement and constant trust.’
