Mindspace REIT EcoRun Champions Sustainability in Mumbai

Over 3,500 runners joined the Mindspace REIT EcoRun in Mumbai, blending marathon spirit with sustainability.

The event, hosted at Mindspace Business Park, Airoli East, featured eco-friendly initiatives such as organic t-shirts, plantable bibs, biodegradable cutlery, and waste reduction efforts. Flagging off the runs were Mindspace Business Parks REIT leaders, including CEO Ramesh Nair. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar and Shoppers Stop CEO Kavindra Mishra led the 5K segment.

Participants included Paralympic runner Ajay Kumar and fitness coach Priya, both making strides in community impact. The event minimized waste, eliminating single-use plastics and recycling 95 per cent of collected waste. With 14 sponsors, the run set a new benchmark for sustainable marathons.
