RR Kabel, India’s leading consumer electrical and wire and cable manufacturer, proudly announces the winners of its Kabel Star Scholarship programme 2024 in Mumbai. The Scholarship programme, an industry-leading initiative, is tailored for children of electricians who have successfully completed their 10th-grade exams this year. Aligning with the company's vision of an educated and empowered India, the  programme has allocated over Rs 10 million each year to encourage and support the higher secondary education of these promising students. Nationwide, 3000 students have been selected to receive individual scholarships of Rs 10,000 each till now. These outstanding scholars have not only secured financial support for their higher secondary education but have also taken a significant step towards realising their aspirations.

The company has successfully executed two seasons of this scholarship programme as an industry first initiative and this marks the third season with a significant number of applicants. Out of almost 1000 scholarship winners from across the country, Mumbai has emerged as a standout hub, with 42 honourees. The winners were celebrated at a special ceremony held at the LA BANQ – R Square Food, R - Odeon Mall in Mumbai.

The Kabel Stars Scholarship, an initiative by RR Kabel, was launched in 2022 with the vision of empowering the children of electricians, fondly called ‘Kabel Dost,’ by supporting their higher education ambitions. Since its inception, the  programme has had a transformative impact, providing financial aid to top deserving students across the country. Over the years, this initiative has grown in both scale and significance, with over thousand students benefiting each year. This year marks the third edition of the Kabel Stars Scholarship  programme, underscoring the company’s enduring commitment to uplifting the electrician community and investing in their future generations. The  programme has opened new educational opportunities for children, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations regardless of their financial constraints and its success is evident in the increasing number of applicants each year and the inspiring stories of past recipients who have gone on to achieve academic excellence and pursue promising careers.
