Rustomjee Partners Rotary For SCHOOLR-ATHON 2025 In Dombivli

Rustomjee Group partnered with the Rotary Club of Dombivli Downtown for SCHOOLR-ATHON 2025, a student-community marathon held on 7 December 2025 along the Urban Woods by Rustomjee Drive Road in Dombivli. The event brought together more than 5,000 participants, including 2,200 young runners across 2 km, 3 km and 5 km race categories, promoting fitness, compassion and civic engagement.

Proceeds from the marathon will support life-saving paediatric cardiac surgeries for 18 underprivileged children identified by the Rotary Club. With over 2,000 children currently on hospital waiting lists, this year’s initiative aims to address an urgent healthcare requirement. In its 18-year journey, the Rotary Club of Dombivli Downtown has led multiple social and medical relief initiatives for the community.

“Our belief is that vibrant communities are built when families come together to celebrate wellness, learning, and shared purpose. SCHOOLR-ATHON is a wonderful platform that encourages children to embrace an active lifestyle while championing a cause as meaningful as paediatric heart care,” said Chandresh Mehta, Executive Director, Rustomjee Group.

Rtn. Kirti Shetty, President, Rotary Club of Dombivli Downtown, added that the marathon reinforces the power of collective effort and youth participation, with the funds directly supporting paediatric surgeries and other medical relief efforts.

The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Shri Ravindra D. Chavan, Rtn. Harsh Makol, Shri Rajesh G. More and Smt. Sulbha Gaikwad. The marathon concluded with a cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony. The initiative aligns with Rustomjee’s focus on nurturing community well-being and creating environments that support holistic family development.
