Indian airports' revenues to rise next fiscal year

According to aviation consultancy CAPA India on Wednesday, Indian airport operators are expected to post a 26% increase in revenues at USD 3.9 billion in the upcoming fiscal year. When giving the prognosis for the airports, it stated that total air passenger traffic, including domestic and international, is anticipated to be 395 million in 2023–2024.

Domestic air travellers will increase this fiscal year from 275 million to 320 million of the total. The number of passengers flying internationally will rise from 58 million to 75 million throughout this time.

According to CAPA India, domestic airport traffic in India is anticipated to reach 700 million travellers and international airport traffic to reach 160 million travellers by FY2030.
