National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been emphasising newer technologies to build better quality roads in less time and cost stating that good quality roads are made quickly at less cost and are convenient for citizens to run their vehicles on them. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) also stressed the importance of agreement between the central government and the states to ensure development.
