IRB Infra signs concession pact worth Rs 6,555 crore in Uttar Pradesh

A concession pact worth Rs 6,555 crore has been executed by IRB Infrastructure located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In a BSE filing, the company mentioned that 129.7 km are the combined length of this project.

IRB Infrastructure told the media that its fully-owned subsidiary executed a concession pact worth Rs 6,555 crore with the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) for the Ganga Expressway project. 129.7 km is the total length of this project.

Meerut Budaun Expressway Private Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the IRB. The company successfully accomplished the concession agreement with the UPEIDA. This project is for the development of access controlled six-lane Greenfield Ganga Expressway which can be expanded to eight lanes in Uttar Pradesh, on a Toll basis, under PPP.

The company also said that the viability gap funding is Rs 1,746 crore.
