The TTD trust has been spending aggressively on improving the road infrastructure in and around Tirupati over the last few years. In April this year, the temple trust sanctioned Rs.6.85 crore for providing BT renewal coat and reconstruction of damaged open drains and footpath along the road from Ramanuja circle to Renigunta road in Tirupati.

Earlier in 2017, the Tirupati trust sanctioned Rs.28 crore for the four laning of the Alipiri-Cherlopalli road in a 6.3 km long stretch.
