13 L-1 to construct 13 packages of the ambitious Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced 13 lowest bidders (L-1) out of 18 eligible financial bidders to construct 13 packages of the 700-km Nagpur-Mumbai Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg (MSM) Expressway.<br /> <br /> Here are the lowest bidders (L1):<br /> <br /> Package 1: Nagpur - Megha Engineering<br /> Package 2: Wardha - Afcons<br /> Package 3: Amravati - NCC<br /> Package 4: Washim East - PNC Infratech<br /> Package 5: Washim West - Sadbhav Engineering<br /> Package 6: Buldana East - APCO<br /> Package 7: Buldana West - Reliance Infrastructure<br /> Package 8: Jalna - Montecarlo<br /> Package 9: Aurangabad East - Megha Engineering<br /> Package 10: Aurangabad West - L&T<br /> Package 11: Ahmednagar - Gayatri Projects<br /> Package 12: Nashik East - Dilip Buildcon<br /> Package 13: Nashik West - BSCPL<br /> <br /> Announcing these names, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Radheshyam Mopalwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, MSRDC, </span>said, 'With the outcome of the financial bids, we have completed yet another important milestone of this mega infrastructure project. We will now immediately undertake the process of evaluation of the valuation submitted by the financial bidders. After completion of due diligence in the next few days, we may issue work orders.'<br /> <br /> Construction for the Rs 460-billion Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg project has been divided into 16 packages and the bid process for the remaining three packages is still under progress. The government has acquired about 81 per cent private and government land.<br />
