Delhi announces premium bus aggregator project

Delhi’s public transport system is expected to undergo a change thanks to the Delhi government's Premium Bus Aggregator Project. With the advent of premium buses, Delhi residents will finally have access to luxurious bus travel.

The campaign, according to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, attempts to persuade people to use public transport instead of solely relying on their cars. According to Kejriwal, the government would put this plan on the table for a month once the LG gives it the green light.

The deluxe buses will have Wi-Fi, GPS, CCTV, air conditioning, and a panic button. For increased convenience, users will be able to reserve their seats online. Furthermore, CNG buses will not be more than three years old, and each bus will have at least 12 seats.

Aggregators will be able to map bus routes independently, but they must give the government accurate information. The public has warmly greeted this announcement and is ready to take advantage of Delhi's luxury bus travel.

The city of Delhi's Premium Bus Aggregator Project is anticipated to be significant in lowering both pollution and traffic congestion.

Speaking about this new programme, Kejriwal stated that since Delhi is the nation's capital, the state administration is working hard to create a world-class public transportation system there. He continued by saying that Delhi's transit system need to be on par with that of some of the top cities in the world.
