The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee will present welfare programmes to the program's recipients. She will also dedicate a number of finished works and lay the foundation stones for new ones. The Chief Minister could provide land documents to Kalimpong and Darjeeling district tea garden employees among them. She will dedicate 37 road construction projects run by the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad (SMP) and approximately 10 development projects run by the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA). The Chief Minister will dedicate a new SJDA building that is located in Himachal Bihar. Apart from this, Banerjee is likely to inaugurate the government Eco Park and Resort in Lataguri, a new marketplace in Lataguri from the programme.

In honour of International Mother Language Day, a facsimile of the "Bhasha Sahid" (Martyrs' column) has been erected on the main stage. At most, the stadium can hold 10,000 spectators. The stadium's gate number 13 has been designated as an emergency gate.
