10 rly stations to be built along the east and west freight corridors

On the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, which both pass through Haryana, a total of 10 new railway stations will be built. Aside from that, the possibility of exploring the industrial sector in the vicinity of these stations will be considered.

The Central Government has also proposed the development of a Regional Rapid Transit System or Resort Rapid Transit System rail route from Delhi to Hisar to facilitate connectivity of Hisar airport with Delhi Airport, said Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar after a meeting with Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi on Monday.

After the meeting, Khattar told the media that Detailed discussions were held with Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw about several schemes to develop various areas around ten railway stations that will be built on the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors that pass through Haryana. Timely decisions have been made to expedite the work and processes associated with various railway projects in Haryana.

A double-engine government will benefit the people of Haryana greatly, and this double-engine government will continue to benefit the people of Haryana in the future as well, according to Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Khattar said that the Ministry of Railways has also given its approval for a road to be built beneath Rohtak's elevated railway line.

The Ministry of Railway will approve the elevated railway line project in Kaithal by preparing a DPR shortly.

The department will be given the necessary instructions to acquire land as soon as possible to complete the remaining link of the freight corridor up to Palwal-Prithla.

The establishment of this link will benefit the area's industrial units greatly.
