Dilip Buildcon-RBL JV gets go-ahead for Surat Metro

Highways builder Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has announced that its joint venture with RBL had received a letter of acceptance from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) for the Rs 10.61 billion Surat Metro Rail project. Surat Metro Rail is a 40.35-km-long project with two corridors. The first corridor, from Sarthana to Dream City, will be 21.61 km, with 6.47 km underground and the rest elevated. Sarthana, Nature Park, Kapodra, Labheshwar Chowk Area, Central Warehouse, Surat Railway Station, Maskati Hospital, Gandhi Baug, Majura Gate, Roopali Canal, and Dream City will be among the 20 metro stations. The project's total cost is Rs 120.20 billion.
