RITES Secures NTPC Contract for MGR System at Mouda

RITES Limited, a leading Indian engineering and consultancy firm in the transport infrastructure domain, has been awarded a significant Letter of Award (LoA) by NTPC Limited. The contract pertains to the Biennial MGR Mega Contract at NTPC’s Mouda Super Thermal Power Project.
As part of the agreement, RITES will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Merry-Go-Round (MGR) rail system, including the handling of the DU (Discharge Unit) system and maintenance of Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) infrastructure, ensuring seamless logistics and rail connectivity for the power station.
Leveraging its extensive expertise in railway engineering and operational support, RITES aims to deliver efficient management and sustained performance at the Mouda facility. The contract further affirms RITES’ position as a trusted partner in India's infrastructure and energy sectors.
