Marking its seventh anniversary, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has registered over 50,000 housing projects, becoming the only state in India to reach this milestone. Maharashtra now accounts for more than 35 per cent of all residential projects registered under RERA across the country.According to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India has a total of 144,617 housing projects registered with RERA bodies. The West Bengal government is preparing approximately 7.09 acres of land at the Kharagpur General Industrial Park in West Midnapore for industrial allotments.
