India-Bangladesh Discuss Land Port Facilities

India and Bangladesh have initiated discussions to resolve key land port issues and improve cross-border facilities for smoother trade and transit. The talks focus on enhancing infrastructure at critical land ports, addressing operational bottlenecks, and ensuring better connectivity for both nations.

The key objective of the discussions is to improve the efficiency of border trade, which has seen significant growth in recent years. Strengthening these facilities will reduce delays, increase throughput, and facilitate the flow of goods between the two countries, contributing to stronger bilateral economic ties.

Both nations are committed to enhancing the capacity of land ports and ensuring seamless customs processes, which will bolster trade across a variety of sectors, including agriculture, textiles, and manufacturing.
