Various development projects taken up by the Mangaluru Smart City (MSCL) will be inaugurated, and foundation stones will be laid for proposed works. Kadri Park road and the beautification of the premises, a new Central Market complex, a pedestrian sea-river link bridge and waterfront project, are some projects under development. The sea-river link bridge and waterfront project will be taken up at a cost of Rs.1 billion and the total cost of the projects to be inaugurated and launched is Rs.2.30 billion.
