Blue Dart Unveils 10-Minute Digital Account Opening

Blue Dart Express has introduced its new Digital Account Opening (DAO) platform, enabling businesses across India to open shipping accounts and begin operations within just 10 minutes.

The platform features a five-step digital onboarding process, allowing companies to register, complete KYC verification, sign agreements, and recharge prepaid cards quickly and securely. Through the DAO Journey, users can create a profile, select a suitable plan, complete Aadhaar-enabled digital signing, and immediately start shipping with a Digital Prepaid Card.

All account activities are tracked in real time, and early access to Blue Dart’s customer dashboard gives users comprehensive control over shipping tools and service features, enhancing transparency and operational efficiency.

After onboarding, customers can choose from three pre-defined shipping plans or design a customised plan tailored to their specific business requirements.

Commenting on the launch, Dipanjan Banerjee, Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Dart Express, said the DAO platform “marks a pivotal step in simplifying logistics for businesses of every scale. By reducing onboarding time from days to minutes, we are empowering MSMEs, e-commerce sellers, and growing enterprises to ship faster and more seamlessly.”

The DAO Journey is now live on Blue Dart’s official website under the ‘Open Your Account’ section. New customers also receive a digital welcome kit, reinforcing Blue Dart’s focus on transparency, trust, and customer-centric innovation.

With this digital launch, Blue Dart strengthens its reputation as a technology-driven logistics leader, offering faster, more efficient, and accessible shipping solutions across India.
