ColdStar Expands with New Cold Storage Units in Mumbai, Sonipat

ColdStar Logistics has expanded its India network with three new facilities—two in Mumbai and one in Sonipat—to meet rising demand for fresh and perishable products. The hubs will handle fruits and vegetables for leading e-commerce platforms.

The Sonipat facility spans 80,000 sq ft and processes 1,70,000 units daily, while the Mumbai hubs add 2,20,000 units per day, including 80,000 units of cold storage. Collectively, the facilities provide over 3,200 tonnes handling capacity and employ 1,100+ people daily.

Sameer Varma, Executive Director, ColdStar Logistics, said the facilities will strengthen supply to the NCR and Mumbai consumption hubs. He added that ColdStar aims to expand further into East and Deccan India, leveraging technology-driven cold chain solutions.
